ASC-5. 5th Anatolian School of Catalysis
from fundamentals to applications

The organizing committee cordially invites graduate/undergraduate students, post-doctoral, and all early career researchers working in the field of catalysis. The school will be held in Angora Beach Hotel in Izmir (Turkey) between 8 and 11 September 2019.
The main theme of the school is “from fundamentals to applications” covering all aspects of heterogeneous catalysis. It involves lectures on selected topics given by world renowned leaders in the field and discussions on the latest findings and developments.
The main objectives are listed as follows:
- Enhancing knowledge and horizon of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early career researchers in the catalysis field covering all the aspects "from fundamentals to applications".
- Bringing young researchers together with the experts in the field to help them built their networking at such an early stage in their research career.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Izmir for this international event and to share with you the latest scientific progress.

All participants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for the poster session of the summer school. The submitted abstracts will be published in an Abstract Book with an ISBN number.
Abstracts must be written with the following template and submitted to the organizing committee in .docx format using a standardized file name “5thASC_Last name_First name.docx”.
10 of the abstracts will be picked as a candidate for the short oral presentations during the poster presentations
100 Euro (Academic); 400 Euro (Industry)
The fee includes registration to the summer school, trip to the Ancient City of Ephesus, accommodation for three nights at the all-inclusive Angora Beach Resort, and Turkish Catalysis Society Membership fee.
